Hatching nymphs (praying mantis babies) and watching metamorphosis with our butterflies

For Kinsley’s kindergarten class we are doing our letter B and watching painted lady caterpillars turn into butterflies this week. It came in her kindergarten My Fathers World curriculum.  The kit comes with a voucher for the caterpillars to come in the mail then they eat and eat until the make their chrysalis and then turn into butterflies. The kit is from http://www.insectlore.com  My oldest daughter loves insects so I also bought from the site a praying mantis egg sack.  It hatches 75-200 nymphs. The girls loved watching both kits! I would recommend these to any children of all ages.  Their curriculum is from http://www.mfwbooks.com
