Here is a recipe for some Christmas granola. I eat it cold with milk but it is also great warm. I saw this recipe online somewhere but I do not know where. And I changed it a lot to taste like Christmas.
So these are just estimates on the amount of ingredients. Use more or less if you would like. OK so I used 5 cups of oatmeal, 1/2 cup of coconut oil, a drizzle of olive oil, 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk, a cinnamon stick, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, a dash of clove, and a dash of nutmeg, a drizzle all over of molasses, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 teaspoon of almond extract, 1/4 cup honey, 1 cup golden raisins, and some walnuts. Now like I said this is just what I found in my cupboard. Use whatever you have, granola is good with so many different things in it. You can even do chocolate!
The first picture is what it looked like before it cooked in the crock-pot and the 2nd is when it was done. It took about 4 hours with the lid cracked. And you cant just leave it in there, you have to be around to stir it every now and then so it doesn’t burn at the bottom and all of it gets golden brown. Your house will smell amazing! I keep mine in the fridge because I really dont want it to mold. Its is very moist.
